There are a lot of different collars nowadays and some of them are so common that you may have never realized that they had a name! Some of them actually made history just like the Napoleon collar. Some collars  like the crew neck (t-shirt) are use in casual wear while others like the tailor and the shirtwaist are use in formal wear. Sometimes little details can make a big difference in two similar collars like the Officer and the Wing tip collar. Whatever the style a shirt alway have a neckline and if yours doesn’t have one, then maybe you probably are not human.  You can completely change the look of a garment only by changing his neckline. We will see the 8 basic necklines: basic roundneck, v-neck, boat neckline, plunging neckline, wrap neckline, draped, square, and keyhole.
